A real favourite!

We took a bit of a break from recording in September in the optimistic hope that we’d be able to start socially-distanced rehearsals (you know, in the same room!). Sadly, with a couple of our number being caught by local lockdown restrictions just days before we were due to meet, that wasn’t to be, so we cheered ourselves up with a recording of what is possibly our all-time favourite piece, The Lone Ar-ranger Goes Sax Mad!

Coronavirus – pluses and minuses…

Sadly, it’s looking increasingly likely that our scheduled concert on Saturday 2 May 2020 at Howden Minster will need to be postponed as a result of the ongoing coronavirus epidemic, since even if the lockdown restrictions have been lifted by then, we won’t have been able to rehearse together for several months, so won’t be in a position to give the top quality performance we want to offer to our audience.
